Terms and Conditions of Order
- We will only accept orders from people aged 18 or over.
- We reserve the right to revise prices and details at any time.
- As natural products all tree sizes are approximate and all shape, density and colour may vary. As such, we will not accept responsibility for any tree not meeting expectation in these respects. However, we do ensure that you will receive a high quality tree.
- If any product purchased is damaged in transit, you must retain both the product and packaging and inform us within 2 working days. We will then arrange for a refund or replacement item.
- All items advertised by Trim-a-tree Ltd are subject to availability.
- All design, text and imagery on www.trim-a-tree.co.uk is copyright of Trim-a-tree Ltd, except for inserts supplied by other bodies (as indicated).
- Trim-a-tree Ltd reserves the right to decline service to any individual.
- Please check your order carefully before submitting. We cannot be held responsible for user errors.
- Incorrect usage of lights resulting in faults is not the responsibility of Trim-a-tree Ltd.
- It is the Purchaser's responsibility to return any goods at their expense.
- Trim-a-tree Ltd reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time upon giving advance notice.
- Trim-a-tree Ltd web server uses reliable encryption technology on its checkout facilities, and we value your privacy. Your details will not be passed to any third party (unless you use PayPal for your payment). However, Trim-a-tree Ltd cannot and will not be held responsible for any security breech resulting from DOS (Denial Of Service) attacks, viruses, or any other type of unauthorised malicious attack.
- Trim-a-tree Ltd is a VAT registered company.
Delivery Terms and Conditions
- All deliveries are made to your door only. Delivery service does not include installation of the tree or removal of packaging.
- Delivery of trees is available anywhere within the M25 from Monday to Sunday. We endeavour to get your tree to you on your preferred date. However, in the event of there being a problem, we will contact you to inform you. Trees will be suitably packaged and delivered by our chosen courier.
- If you are unavailable to accept the delivery and have not consented to allow you consigment to be left unattended, a calling card will be left with a contact number for you to make alternative arrangements. You will then be able to arrange a mutually convenient day for delivery. No refunds will be given for failure to make alternative arrangments resulting in the consignment being disposed of.
- If you have requested a specific date and time for your delivery, but are not available to take delivery and have not given us permission to leave your purchase unattended or at an alternative address, your goods will be returned to us to await further instruction. If we have to redeliver the purchase at an alternative time there will be an additional delivery charge of £5.95.
- We cannot leave deliveries unattended unless you have consented by ticking the box at the 'checkout' stage and provided us with instructions on location for the consignment to be left eg. "with neighbour" or "under porch".
- If consent has been given to leave the consignment unattended, Trim-a-tree Ltd cannot accept any responsibility for theft or damage to the consignment.
- Any problems with your order must be notified to us within 24hrs of receipt of your consigment. We will not accept return of products after December 24th.
- Live trees cannot be delivered before 1st December.
- Please recognise that this is a busy period and we cannot guarentee that there will not be any delays.
Tree Removal Service Terms and Conditions
- Service is only available to customers who have purchased their tree from Trim-a-tree Ltd.
- All trees must have all decorations removed.
- Trees will only be collected from the delivery address or as per a special instruction.
- We aim to collect your tree on your specified date. However, this is not always possible and we therefore will collect the tree on the nearest possible date afterwards.
- If your collection fails, please contact us as soon as possible so we can rearrange a date.
